Welcome to Edward’s

Garden Center!

Proudly In Our 46th Year In Business

Edward’s Landscaping Service was established in 1978 with two trucks and a four-person crew to offer services for grounds maintenance & small landscaping projects throughout Wyoming Valley.

Things have changed since then.  Today, Edward’s offers a “We Plan, You Plant” Service, a five-acre Garden Center (including a bulk materials yard), many animals to visit, a great kids’ area and a Contractor Division.  Our staff, with over 200 years of combined experience is dedicated to making your experience with Edward’s a pleasure.

Owner Ed Kopec keeps a positive attitude even during challenging times like the ones we’re seeing now with increasing prices. Ed shared his thoughts recently on the local news.

I am looking to redo our front flower beds and need to know what kind of bush or tree would you recommend for full sun that wouldn’t grow too large but can withstand our freezing winters…… do you have any suggestions? If you do, do you have the items at your location that I can look?
    Thank you!!#

Hi Joanie, Sorry it took so long to reply! We recommend either a twisted redbud or Japanese maple. Both are zone hardy and don’t get too big.

Please gives a call if you have any other questions.

Hello Ed I was wondering if you have your dates set for your spring and fall festival yet so I can save the dates on my calender and not book any other jobs.

    Thank you

Do you sell aquatic plants? Do you sell pond fish (koi, goldfish)? If not, is there anyone in this area area that does?

    • s0lidcactus says:

We no longer install ponds ourselves. We highly recommend Russell’s Landscaping. Here is his number (570) 690-2949.

I just installed a pond kit we bought through you. It came out so well. Took on a personality of its own. So fun landscaping it and choosing the right plants to give it a natural look. Question: Do you have a trick to keeping small fish out of the skimmer?
