For as long as we’ve worked to improve our clients’ properties, we’ve also worked to improve our community. It has been Edward’s privilege to support beautification projects in Forty Fort Borough; Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, Candy’s Place, Blue Chip Farms Animal Rescue along with numerous sports clubs and horticultural programs.

Ed Kopec served as a member of the Kingston Rotary Club from 1981 to 2019 where he chaired numerous committees which helped to benefit the community.

During the holiday season, we host an “Angel Tree” That benefits the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association’s preschoolers (WVCA). Customers can stop in and take an angel from the tree which has a child’s name and their Christmas wish list. Presents are purchased from their wish list and then returned to Edward’s Garden Center. Additionally, anyone that has a kiddo in their life that they would like to have receive a “letter from Santa” can sign up to receive a personalized Santa Letter in the mail with a $5 donation to WVCA. We also collect donations to benefit the students at WVCA. (See photos below)

Additionally, the Kopec family are supporters of Breakthrough T1D. This is a foundation dedicated to curing Type 1 Diabetes, and supporting those that are affected by it. In 2023, we were able to raise $9,000 and in 2024 we were able to raise $18,000! This cause is near and dear to the Kopec family’s hearts. Read about it on our Facebook here.
