Sweaters. Boots. Pumpkin spice everything. Yes, it’s that time of year again… Autumn.
It certainly is a gorgeous time of year here in northeastern Pennsylvania with all of the vibrant colors of leaves falling from the trees. We think this time of year deserves a celebration, which is why we’re having our annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Talk to the Animals
The weather forecast looks perfect for this kind of outdoor fun, so everyone can take full advantage of the beauty that is the outdoors. In addition to seeing the beauty of our garden full of color and soothing ponds and water features, you can visit with many of our furry and non-fury friends. Say ‘hello’ to our goats, rabbits, birds, tortoises and iguanas, and we’ll also have visitors from the Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge looking to be adopted. Edward’s Garden Center is proud to once again support Blue Chip and will match all donations up to a total of $500.
Let Us Entertain You
You are sure to be feeling good after visiting all of the cute animals, but that’s just the beginning of the fun. Be entertained by our wood carver, juggler, balloon man and live music. Get your toes tapping and hands clapping while the kids enjoy face painting and pony rides. All of the fresh air and fun is sure to make you hungry.
Feast on Good Grub
As you wander through our garden center filled with fall favorites like Mums, pumpkins and whimsical Halloween decorations, your nose will be hit with the aroma of delicious food. Bring your appetite because our concession stand will be open and we’ll have several food vendors. Fill your belly with a gyro or sausage sandwich from the Gyro Truck or savor some of Sammy’s Caribbean Grill wraps, BBQ or Jerk chicken, cheese steak and other lunch platters.
Kids will love our concession stand stocked with all of their favorites like: hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, mac and cheese and slushies. Be sure to save room for a sweet treat from the Sweet Lush Cupcakery; we’ll also have ice cream and the Panana Man.
